what is the permeability of the potato cytoplasm with reagrds to sucrose and water? Is it permeable to water, but not sucrose??

If you're looking at permeability, you should probably be looking at membranes, not cytoplasm. If you're serious about this, learn a bit more, then formulate a better question and you're more likely to find people to help you.
