Niether one of those, the highest cloud is called the Noctilucent clouds, it is composed of ice crystal clouds occurring at elevations of about 40-60 miles above the earth's surface. They can be seen after sunset when, because of their great height, they are still illuminated by sunlight.

Of those four listed, cirrus is the highest cloud.

Status and cumulus are both considered low clouds and nimbus is a rain producing cloud whose name is normally in conjunction with a cloud type such as nimbostratus or cumulonimbus. Looked a little odd seeing it by itself.

Nimbus is only used with other terms, such as cumulonimbus or nimbostratus. If that is neglected then cirrus is the highest. However, it is possible for the tops of cumulonimbus to be higher than cirrus.

Cirrus, I believe. The ice crystals in 'em refract the light, often making them appear multi-colored.
