I would say that the hardest thing for a Married Couple, being Married for more than 10 years, is not finding faults with each other, because remember we are not perfect, everybody has some bad habits, that we do not recognize, or we do not want to. Above all else try to be romantic to each other, you need to keep the fire burning within you both, if for some reason one of you are not romantic, showing affection to each other is a must, do not let your Marriage get stale of lack of affection.

Making time for each other is a very hard thing to do. As you get older more responsibilities are put on your shoulders. Children, careers, and extended family place demands, but your focus should always be your spouse.
It sounds corny, but plan date nights. In my marriage it's a date breakfast every Saturday morning. We sit back, relax, and talk even if we are upset with each other.
Still going strong 12 years and 4 kids later.

I remember that all the little things about him I thought were cute at the beginning of our relationship became the most annoying things after 10 years.

Balancing life, kids, work, etc. and still being there for each other as a friend, lover, partner, co-parent......oh yeah, and hectic schedules.

Not getting bored with each other. Being best friends and still being able to have a romantic evening. Spicing up the sex life and still have time to spend (A lot) with the kids. <3

Boredom. All the surprise is gone. the kids take up most of the time, and what is left, you are too tired to do anything.
