Just losing weight in general should make your double chin go away. That's how it worked for me.
I used to just eat whenever I wanted to or when I was bored and I was over-weight, but then I started making sure that I didn't eat anything unless my stomach was actually growling and I knew for sure that there was no food in my stomach.. when I started doing that I would eat 2 meals a day at most. Then I started losing weight and my double chin went away.

There's an exercise for this:
You look up at the ceiling, back flat against the back of your chair. Then, stretch your tongue as far towards the back roof
of your mouth as you can. This can strengthen those muscles. It will take awhile, if this is going to work for you, before you notice a change. But it may help.
The only other thing, is that "lunchtime liposuction laser"
thingy. They do your neck in like an hour, take it up. It costs a bunch, tho, and I really don't recommend surgery
to anyone.

Okay every so often, look straight up so your chin strecthes. Eventually it will tighten and you will no longer have a double chin. But it may take a bit of time...

A friend of mine had one that was genetic (she wasn't overweight but she still had it). It required cosmetic surgery.
