Flirting becomes teasing when one of the recipients of the flirtatious episodes becomes aroused sexually with the individual sending out the "flares" but he/she cannot take the flirting to the next level of intimacy and achieve something more satisfying.
Therefore, in my opinion, flirting is more innocent and a way of testing the "waters" in so far as romance and the selection of a dating partner; where as teasing leads to frustration and agony because the tease becomes the object of unquenchable and obsessive desire to the one being stimulated (teased) yet this object of quest is unattainable. The tease has power over the "teasee" and diminishes the one on the end of the teasing to the state of a helpless child yearning for a toy on a shelf that is too high and out of his or her reach.

they are TOTALLY different. flirting is like smiling, touching the hand or the arm, looking in the eyes, whispering so they have to move in to hear you.
teasing is telling them what you are going to do to them, lots of touching and then NOT following thru on the promises, or teasing by making out like crazy and then going home!

they are NOT the same...........when u flirt with some one you kinda feel an attraction to them u like them a little.......but when ur teasing someone thats just rude and stupid because ur doing it because u kno u can.......and teasing is u just do it to make urself feel geed about urself...........
