hi, sorry i'm not quite sure about the first one but i cvan help you with your second problem.

3.9w-2.2(3.6+2.7w) simplified.
First you distribute . Multiply -2.2 by 3.6 and -2.2 by 2.7w
You end up with
3.9w-7.92-5.94w
Then you can subtract -5.94w and 3.9w (combining like terms)
You end up with
-2.04w-7.92
=) hope this helped!!

get c by itself on left hand side
3C=d/5+2+n/2
divide by 3
C=d/15+2/3+n/6

Multiply 2.2 by what is in the brackets
3.9w-(2.2*3.6) - (2.2*2.7w)
=3.9w-7.92-5.94w
subtract like terms, the w terms
= -7.92 -2.04w

C = (1/3)(d/5 + 2 + n/2)

3.9w-2.2(3.6+2.7w) = -2.04w - 7.92

d/5+2=3C-n/2
2d +20 =30C -5n [Previous line multiplied by 10]
2d+5n +20 =30C
(2d+5b+20)/30 = C

3.9w-2.2(3.6+2.7w)
= 3.9w - 7.92 - 5.94w
=-2.04w -7.92
