People are haters because of varied reasons. One would be the inability of people to reach their goals or satisfy themselves with what they want and seeing other people succeeding in their dreams would make them feel bad and there'd be a tendency to hate them rather than be proud of them. Let's say they're insecure.
It is but natural to get irritated with things or people because of some experiences in life and we don't to be reminded of such.
The fact that we cannot admit that some people came up with ideas that are so good or some people may be better at a skill or something which we are not capable of doing.
Lastly, we have our own tastes and preferences. We have the tendency to hate what we don't prefer and things that don't match our tastes.

I guess people, when antagonized, will have that as a normal reaction.
For instance, I do not know you at all, and you ask this question using ASWANG as your Yahoo name. Quite honestly, I can not even try to feel good. It is not hate, but definitely not a good feeling.
For all I know, you could be a marvelous person hiding under such awful Yahoo name (by my own standards). You know the concept of stimulus and response, I assume.

If this was a perfect world then you would not be asking this question now. But this is facts of life, haters are part of society and they keep the world going around and keep it exciting. No one likes or love a hater, but unfortunately they are here to stay and nothing and no one can change that.

Some people are and they are those who have problems with their own selves. They have insecurities and personality dysfunction. They even hate their own shadows.
