ive been using the 7600gs for a few months now. one night i turn my pc on and the screen says "not connected". i took the 7600gs out and connect my monitor to my motherboard (integrated, 6100) and it works fine. put the 7600gs in and it won't work. the pc would run but the screen would just be blank as if the pc is not on. any clue on how to fix this? thanks

Inspect if the fan of the card still spins. If not, it could be dead.

Otherwise, inspect the card for bloated capacitor, burnt smell or burn marks on the connector pins. If everything checks out ok, try reseating the card twice on your motherboard. If it does not work, try it in another PC. If it works, problem could be with your motherboard's PCIe port. If it does not work in another PC, return the card for warranty.

fried, or maybe the cards not getting power, make sur it is all the way in the slot and you have the power cable connected (if it has one), if you had a storm recently it is likely it is fried. fiddle around with it and be careful not to allow any static electricity to touch any of the computer parts. always ground yourself by touching the metal on the computer case. also check the hookup for the monitor ont the video card and the cable you have running to the monitor make sure nothing is wrong with them.

If it works on your motherboard it isn't your video card. Something is wrong with your computer. You had beter have it checked by a tech.
