Alrighty, I'll try to avoid sounding like a little naiive girl. But, I'm a virgin. And I just got on birth control a bit ago for period problems and acne issues. I've heard of a condition called a false pregnancy, where you aren't pregnant, but your body thinks you are and you have all the symptoms and whatnot. Lately, I feel that way. I have to pee more often. I'm more worn out even after 8 hours of sleep. And, I actually have been gaining weight. And, I know I sound incredibly stupid. But I need to know if it's possible that this could be occurring?

A question is never stupid! It's a question, and we've all had our fair share!
The pill makes your body think you're pregnant, to a degree. Only enough to stop you from getting pregnant. It sets some hormornes into play, but not enough for you to feel "really pregnant". You'll probably put on a little weight, and your breasts may grow, but it pretty much ends there.
Don't be offended, but the tired feelings, and the peeing are either from other factors in your life, or just in your head.
If the peeing issue keeps up check with your dr about the possibility of a bladder infection. And maybe you're extra sleepy 'cause you're up all night worrying about this :)
You'll be fine. And dont' worry, you're body doesn't think you're pregnant anymore than any other woman on the pill.

More than likely these are side effects of your birth control. They sometimes tend to "mock" pregnancy symptoms. (especially for the first few months that you are on them) if it continues, go to the doctor and they can change them around until you find the one that will work best for you. I got on birth control when I was 14 years old to regulate my periods and make them less heavy( i was missing 1 day at least of school a month due to them) and it took me a while to find a pill that was right for me. hope this helps!

well that is what is sounds like to me and i should know because i am pregnant right now..and if you say you are a virgin there is no way for you to be pregnant...but there also is the possiblity that it is because of the pill...sometimes it makes people gain weight and i'm not sure about being tired but it definitly does cause weight gain in some people..but what i would do if i were you is go and talk to your doctor..you obgyn...best of luck

Very possible. I knew a woman who had it where like she was not pregnant by any means, infact, she was still a virgin, but she convinced herself she was pregnant and her body showed all the symptons... Morning sickness, weight gain, constant urination, alwasy tired, and more... so its very possible, but if your still a virgin, then you have nothing to worry about, espicially if your just starting birth control. it is probably just your body gettin used the the hormone changes and whatnot.

This is most likely just your body reacting to the birth control. your body is not used to this b/c you have never been on birth control. I know for a fact many birth controls will make you gain weight.

well the point of BCP's are to trick your body into thinking it is pregnant. You are adding hormones to your body and any hormone increase can cause a multitude of different reactions and feelings. I sugguest talking to your doctor about maybe starting a lower dose hormone BCP.

FYI, blood tests could be incorrect. My sister have been given a faux adverse blood attempt, dissimilar fake adverse pee tests, and is due in below 4 weeks. in case you have had 4 beneficial pee tests, you're pregnant.

its more than likley the pills. They make everyone feel different. Some people get sick to their stomach and others feel tired. If it keeps up you should talk to your doctor.

Have you tested? You might be having some other health issue. So, you might mention this to your doctor.
