I've been told I look like Johnny Depp, but Freddy Krueger would have Edward Scissorhands for lunch.

Edward Scissorhands is having a dream. While he lies on his featherbed, fast asleep, Freddie creeps out from under a dark bureau standing in the corner.
Edward just lies there, but in his dream, he
...is cutting a hedge. Freddie approaches from down the street, unaware of Edward's presence. Edward ducks down behind the hedge, waiting for the right moment.
As Freddie passes, Edward jumps up over the hedge, atop Freddie, and starts cutting him to shreds like a paper doll.
Pieces fly everywhere, and Edward finishes his work quickly.
Then he gets a rake and gathers up the pieces of Freddie and puts them in the trash bin.
Oh, wait, he missed a piece, a small shred of Freddie's striped shirt that hangs on a small twig on the hedge suddenly floats away on a breeze, and lands in the gutter...
And back in Edward's room, where he lies sleeping, Freddie approaches, his hand raised...

Freddy Krueger would win hands down. Altering reality (dreams and in real life: taken from the movie series) has a more significant role in winning battles than just having scissors for hands.

Definetly Edward would win, as good always triumphs over evil, Edward would just carve Freddy in to a gerber baby or the stay puff marshmellow man, and at that point, Freddy would never harm another living soul, we could however, reverse Freddy's curse by turning it agaist him and let him torment the other evil souls out there, like where he only torments bad people, sort of Boondock Saints Freddy Kruger would be real cool, I like to produce that movie

*sigh* What a question. Obviously Freddy would chop up Edward like a tomato. He's too psycho for a nice guy like Edward to handle. Unfortunately.
