You're probably wondering "what's wrong with my roommate?"

Our primitive brains can powerfully overrule and "armtwist" the rational, logical, language-using brain that might say nudity is OK. One component of disgust is hating to be reminded that we're like other animals.

(But we can sometimes work out how to live together better than other animals!)

Nudists are fine as long as they keep it in the realms of a colony. If they start imposing it on others or roommates with consent or approval, then it's rude and distasteful.

Michael,

We were all born naked and some people think that the human body is nasty.
I'm with you. I'd be out looking for a new roommate if I were you, who can accept you for the person you are.

It's perfectly natural... but keep in mind the feelings of others. If your roommate is not OK with it, try and find one who is.

I think nudity is perfectly natural; but others don't. Your room-mate has a right to be squicky about it if he's uncomfortable about you parading nude in the house.
Personally I like going nude and you might want to check out the Naturist Society if you would like to continue to do so. They are a legal society and will be able to help you find respectable gatherings and legal nude beaches.

I don't fully understand nudist; I mean, why would someone want to be naked at all times? What's the point?

My feeling is: If you are sharing the financial responsibilities, then you need to keep your clothes on. Running around nude apparently isn't an option for your room mate. However, you do wear clothes when you aren't in your own home (work, school, store, parents' house (I hope)). If it makes your room mate uncomfortable, it isn't fair to him/her to have to be uncomfortable in his/her own home. Be considerate and put your clothes on.

I would listen to Riverotter and check out that link.

Nudity is natural, but only with a partner.

Most people would feel awkward around a roommate who is constantly nude.

If you do it in private or in some kind of nudist colony, then that's fine...but not in public, no one really wants to see all that, and it's illegal.

I think it is ok but I am not sure how I would react toward a girl at times.
