i just bought an ipod and downloaded itunes. it says on the itunes instructions that if i want to upload songs from the cd to itunes i just have to insert the cd and the songs will appear on the i tunes windows. choose songs and then import. but when i did it the songs didn't appear on the itunes window. i had to import it 1 by 1. i need some advice! thanks!

i'm not certain why your pc didn't recognize the full disc. i would suggest that you take the cd out, reinsert, and try it again. as soon as the pc reads the cd, you should see the full playlist in front of you on the itunes window screen. from there, at the bottom right hand corner of the screen, you would want to select import, and the songs will begin to download into aac format into itunes. try this process with another cd. this process should definitely work.

pretty_smart's answer basically covers it, but also some CDs have copy protection so they can't be imported normally. Yellowcard: lights and sounds and some versions of Nickelback: for all the right reasons have that on.

4095 products, 11.2 days, 31.seventy 8 GB My I-Pod is barely a 32 Gb so that is somewhat plenty finished. BQ: I named my I-Pod "Sam" after a dream I had approximately this random guy or woman at my college named Sam. :]
