I think Amarillo is placed in the Great Plains, so I don't know if there r any significant land4ms nearby or in the TX Panhandle.

Amarillo is in the panhandle of Texas and it sits right on the top of a mesa. There are lakes nearby. Canyons and hills also. But nothing tall enough to be called a mountain.

Mountains (hills), canyons, valleys, rivers, streams, (& lots of sagebrush & tumbleweeds).
