This is precisely why the common law requires parallel citations (multiple listing of sources) - so that everyone in court is on the same page, same paragraph, same rationale. That way, if there is something wrong with the logic, the error is at least TRACKABLE. Fully-documented accountability is crucial, but more than that is beyond the scope of reasonable or even do-able.

No news on politics or government is straight arrow. They all show their bias one way or the other on any issue. I have the time so I read National Review for the conservative side and Mother Jones for the liberal. They are both well written and each has a few wackos, but you get both perspectives on most issues and can better decide on your own.

If its about politics and corruption I try and get it from different sources but more on the Internet than on TV. It seems like most reporters have a short memory and don't give us the whole picture.

Is the resource on the net reliable? It depends but if there are multiple sources than I tend to take it for what its worth.
