The judge wants time to think about it, is that a sign he'll allow Craing to withdraw his guilty plea?

As of about an hour ago, the judge had ruled that he may not revoke his guilty plea. The reason was that he was under no duress when he made the plea and that the evidence the state presented was sufficient to back up the guilty plea.

I don't think he should have pleaded guilty - even if he was. He wanted to pay the small fine and have the whole incident to go away. Rotten luck that it was found out and now he has to back peddle. I doubt the police or judge will let him withdraw his plea.

I certainly hope not. What an injustice that would be. Maybe everyone should go out and commit some misdemeanor and quickly plead guilty and then come back and say oops! I didn't mean to plead guilty, hee heee hee. Can I go Scot free, now Judge?

He shouldn't have plead guilty. His political career is now over, even if he is found not guilty.

Even if he is able to withdraw his plea, his political career is still toast.

Everyone knows that in the USA you always plead not guilty.
