There's really no such thing as a multicultural society. A society /is/ a culture and vice versa. A society with a single culture that becomes a society with multiple cultures is just a society in the process of disentegration. Whether that happens because of migration, conflict, or social change, or is brought about intentionally doesn't matter. Conversely, a diverse set of cultures thrown together by circumstance or design can form a society and a new, syncretic, culture.

Nothing; until the law is changed to force another's religious beliefs on others, or to force social changes based upon other's belief systems and values--or lack there of. i.e., marginalizing the concept of marriage by persons who do not maintain a monogomous relationship.
Healthy relationships do not involve emotional abuse, and should persons decide to end their marriage or relationship, the social systems that do exist should not delay that process or require government invovlement in personal decisions.

Nothing, until one culture trys to force their ways on the rest. Kinda like muslims demanding sharia law when they are able to get a majority anywhere they are.
