What is the live jazz scene like? I mean like real jazz, not r&b or smooth stuff

There are a few clubs in Denver , but nothing like NYC

I would say the jazz scene is so so. There are some decent acts that roll through town, but yeah nothing like NYC or Chicago. I would use the Westword to find a show.
