definitely, the larger the baby get's the slower the heart rate will be. Don't worry they would def tell you if something was abnormal

It can be really hard to tell what the heartbeat is at 9 weeks. You could barely hear my babies heartbeat then. Rememner...babies heartbeats are always pretty fast...and when they start getting bigger...they can start to get a little scrunched in there.

I would worry about it. I am sure that if the doc said that it was good, you have nothing to worry about.

Yes it is normal, that is why they say you cannot tell the sex of the baby by the heart rate. Just like an adult, the heart rate will change with the baby's activities ( or lack of them ) maybe your baby was movin' all over the first time you heard it, or maybe he/she was sleeping this time.

I hope we have helped to calm your nerves a bit.

Good Luck

Yep it is they always seem to start in the 170s then drop to between 120 and 160 as you get further along Looking at my 2nd daughters birth and pregnancy record it went between 120 and 160 all the time was faster whn she was awake and kicking alot.. Your baby is fine.

yes, my baby's has gone down too, but the doctor isn't concerned and says it is a strong steady beat, so I wouldn't worry about it.

yep. depends on a lot of things-if your little one was sleeping, or moving around...they'd tell you if you needed to worry. it general slows a little as they grow. :)
