Following directions and listening is very important because my teachers have taken time out of their lives to teach me something I need to know. They have gone through many years of college, paid a great deal of money for tuition, and have practically devoted their lives to enriching the minds of today's youth. My teachers know what is best for me, and therefore, I should listen to what they have to say. If I waste their time, they should be given every right to waste my precious time. Instead of goofing off and playing around, I should listen to my teachers because they are much more knowledgeable than me. If I do not learn how to take directions now, I will never make it through school. I will also never be able to retain employment, as my future bosses will not tolerate my indifference and arrogance. In addition to following directions and listening, I should learn to do my own homework and refrain from asking people on Yahoo! Answers. In a way, this is both cheating and plagiarism. And that makes it a sin. Finally, after I have learned to do all this, I should apologize to my science teacher for calling him an "askdjh." Chances are, my academic abilities will never surpass his, and therefore he shall forever remain as my superior. If I choose to attempt to surpass his academic abilities, I must first learn to follow directions and listen. If not, I should sit my butt down in my desk and listen to my science teacher.
