Maybe you are the one who has changed for the better and suddenly have noticed some habits in your friends that annoy you. People change all the time, high school, college, marriage ,career and having children will change you...sometimes friends change with you and you stay friends, sometimes you no longer have things in common and you drift apart.

They are either trying to impress others or they are just trying to find themselves. They are probably unsure of who they are or want to be.
The sad thing is that they don't realize how dumb or off they look to the ones that knew then prior to high school.
They'll come back around....if they don't their friendship wasn't worth it to begin with.

It gets worse after high school too. I guarantee all or most of your high school friends won't be your friends after high school.

I know what you mean, especially little girls who talk so absurdly and think they are better then their friends.
