I have a dell dimension 2400 desktop any recomandations on the mobo and video card i should upgrade to for around 50-120$ each?

If you still want to use your present ddr RAM but have an upgrade path to ddr2 this is right for you:

If you want to move to ddr2 now and also have Core2 Duo upgrade path, this is it:

when you consider which you like AGP, i don't think you will locate those synthetic anymore straight away so i might recommend finding Ebay for AGP enjoying cards. Unforunately, you're getting on the factor of the ceiling for AGP when you consider that i be attentive to that nvidia final made perhaps the 6000 or 7000 series with AGP.
