the computer shutdown on me and it restarted and now the internet doesnt work and ive run a norton scan on it and nothing comes up any ideas on how to fix it.

This would be a question for your service provider. You need to call them to see how to correct this. I'm sure they can help you.

You would need to call your provider and ask them if they are having tech difficulties in your area. If not explain that you can't get online and the tech will coach you how to get yourself back online.
