I just bought a used car recently and at the time I didn't notice any smell. A couple of days later I started smelling cigarette smoke. Not me or anyone in my family smokes so i know it isn't anyone that smoked in my car. I have been spraying Fabreeze in the car but it hasn't taken the smell totaly away. Does anyone have a remedy for this? I love my car but hate the smell Help!!!

For eliminating the odor without fragrances and irritants, here's an inexpensive and fragrance free product that is FANTASTIC that I use and know so many other people that use it including in cars!! It is a natural fragrance free carbon product called FRIDGE IT odor absorbers -little purple cube with an incredible activated carbon filter inside that is great and eliminates odors for a long time. It works so much better than all those sprays, gels and fragrances that just cover up smells and doesn't get rid of them. Just place one or two (or three) in car and trunk and forget about it. No spills or chemicals or powder to worry about. Each only costs a couple of dollars. I use this product everywhere including car(smoke and pet smells), storage, closets, my fridge and and have friends that use it on cat litter box and also diaper pails - it's that good and I really recommend it. You can buy it in kitchen gadget sections in stores like linens and things. I also think camping world sells it. I also know you can buy direct easily within just a few days -customerservice@innofresh.com...
Definitely worth trying

For the next couple of weeks distribute several shallow aluminum tin foil grocery store cooking pans full of white vinegar in the foot wells of your car.
Obviously you'll need to remove them while you drive and the smell of vinegar will drive you nuts but the offensive smell goes completely away along with the stench of weed smoke in two wks. or less.
