Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.

I suppose they are as real as any god can be. There's a fine line between religion and mythology. When a belief structure has many worshipers, it's a religion. When they all die out and/or convert to another faith, the old religion becomes mythology. Nothing changed except the amount of worshipers. There are some people who feel the Greek gods are more real than other, wider known deities. So those are the ones they worship.

There are people that still today worship Greek gods. It is all about what you want to believe and how you want to worship. Faith is different for each person. Research them a bit more and come to your own conclusions then.

The Greek Gods are one of many pantheons of Gods be they Aztec or Christian Gods. Almost all pantheons have Gods with names and with physical visits to their worshippers at one time or another. Some, like Christianity, take much of their writings from earlier Pantheons.

The Greek gods were not historical figures, as in they were not actually physically on the earth to be seen and touched like Jesus, Moses, and Mohammed were.
The Greeks believed they existed, and they built temples to them. But they were mythical figures, not actual people.
Many people in ancient days believed in God or in gods, but they weren't really sure who God was so they explained Him using myths. In Athens, they even had a temple to "an unknown God" because they weren't really sure if they had it right. When the apostle Paul went to Athens, he told them about God and they felt that this was what they were trying to figure out all along.

They are as real as all of the thousands of Gods that have ever been worshiped in mythology, and that includes Jesus.

Belief in any god or gods depends on your religion. Whether or not a single god or multiple gods exist is totally up to you.

we could go into a gigantic debate over mythology, philosophy, and religion, but i'd rather not, lol.
Some books have the power to change your opinion about things and that is YOUR opinion its what you choose to believe
