Rex Grossman should have never been allowed to start an NFL game. I knew he sucked from his first NFL game. My question is why Lovie Smith couldn't figure this out. They probably would have one the super bowl last year with even a marginal QB like Griese as their starter. Kyle Orton is just as bad. The Bears need to let Grossman, Orton, and Lovie Smith go. I believe Vinny Testaverde is still looking for a job. Why didn't they go after Trent Green? This organization has completely lost it

I think the fact that Smith got to the Superbowl with Grossman being the QB last year answers the question.

I totally agree with what you have to say. Lovie Smith has done some great things for the team but why the hell did he ever start Grossman. He is the worst Quarterback I have ever seen play. Griese is far superior which isn't saying much. The running game was decent last year and with just an avg. QB like Griese they would have one that game.

Take it easy, everyone blames the head coach but the Offensive
Co. Ron Turner and Qb coach Pep Hamilton are the ones to blame. The "O" stinks not the whole team. Griese will start this week lets see what happens.

It wouldn't matter if you had a quality QB, you have no running game, period. Without a running game you will never win a super bowl. And you've got to many injuries piling up on defense. Smith did a heck of a job to get that team as far as he did last year, so get off his back.

Testaverde is not looking for a job he has one on the pats practice squad.if Brady goes down he will play...the problem the pats have is their # 2 and # 3 QBs are pretty good and if they put them on the practice squad someone else will pick them up.Testaverde wont go anywhere but NE ..he wants a ring .I think Lovie Smith is still there because he is a quota .....and they will curt hin much more slack then if he were white.They need to draft someone..gresie is a bandaide.grossman is a liability.they need an asset .

It's not just Grossman it's the entire offense. Green would be in the same boat at Grossman.
