What is the latin name? There are multiple sub-species. Most common is Leaf Tailed:

There's also the Prehensile Tailed:

I think you are referring to the Madagascar species, Uroplatus sikorae. I kept this species for several years in an unsuccessful attempt to breed them. They are a nocturnal, arboreal gecko, about 6 inches long. Their colouration and skin texture resembles tree bark. Some individuals have a greenish tinge resembling moss on bark. The interesting and sometimes challenging part of their care is that they actually have to be kept relatively cool. Anything over the high 70's F for a prolonged time can kill them. They also require very high humidity.
