I don't mind a little kick...and I have a really good shot so I'm not worried about that. But I have small hands and I want an automatic...something that is small...and even if there is a bullet in the chamber that if I dropped the pin someone wouldn't be able to shot me with it if they got it from me. And something that will stop someone dead, litteraly, in their tracks. (Don't get me wrong I pray I never have to use it!)

And what do you think about the car?

Not a "Car," you mean the KAHR. I'm not a fan of it and recently, the NYPD decertified the K9 as a backup gun due to many many malfunctions. I'm not a Kahr fan at all.

There is NO gun that will stop someone dead in their tracks! Anyone who knows anything about firearms will tell you that the best way to stop someone dead is to have good shot placement. That means, PUT THE BULLET IN A VITAL AREA.

If you want massive handgun calibers that would stop a rhino, look at the X frame revolvers from S&W in 460 and 500 mag.

However, in managable, compact, concealable handguns, the calibers I'd stick to are 38spcl, 9mm, 40s&w, 45acp and 10mm.

My personal choice is the S&W 342 in 38 special, since I put it in my suit pocket and don't even know it's there. In the winter time, I'll carry my larger Glock 36 in 45acp or my Glock 27 in 40sw. Any of these three guns would serve you well, but honestly, the only way to stop someone is to shoot them in a spot that will end all movement - the head.

Heart, lung and pelvis shots will kill, but take more time and may allow a perp on drugs to harm you, while you wait for them to die...unless you keep shooting.

PS. The Keltec (Skeltec is what cops call them because it's a favorite drop gun for perps) is a piece of garbage, unless you can't afford anything better. Get something of quality from a major manufacturer like Glock, Sig, Colt, HK, SW, etc.

Honestly you are better with a revolver. I carry a Smith and Wesson .38 airweight. Ready to go but not complicated. I also carry a .45 on duty(great stopping power) but big, heavy and sometime a little more complicated than you need for personal protection. The .38 is great, especially if you're a decent shot. Any gun you get can be used against you, especially if you are a woman you might think twice about what happens to you if you are overpowered and if that is worth it.

It sounds good but you may need to edit it so that it moves along a little faster. Some of the details you go into aren't needed. It's a good beginning and it catches you but by Matt and Melissa, it just seems like needless details or too much too soon. It's hard to remember all the names you're throwing the reader all at once. Before the middle of the paragragh you've introduced over 6 people and it's a little overwhelming. Also, you can break down the paragraphs to be a little more digestable. This is all constructive criticism. I'm only trying to help by being honest. Please don't be mad at me for it.

Are you 21? If so, check out the Kahr 9mm. It's small and a perfect conceal and carry handgun with plenty of punch. I'm not sure what you are talking about with dropping a pin and the car also.
Thanks for correcting me lawncare guy, I always get the two confused.

I am a believer in the Glocks. Your question has some things I don't understand though. If the other person gets it away from you, they can fire it. (unless you leave the trigger-lock on it) What does the car have to do with it? Do you keep it in the house?

Who is to say that whoever wants to kill you won't bring their own gun. I personally dont think the safety features like computer controlled firing and things like that are needed. If you cannot handle the gun you need to learn it better than relying on those safety devices which could fail. You need to learn to treat it like it is always loaded. Any gun will stop them in their tracks. If you are worried about someone getting the gun from you, then I suggest to get training so that you know what you are doing.

You should opt for a taser gun instead of a big firearm. There is nothing better than a taser gun then spray em with 17% pepper spray. They will wish they were dead.

Any gun that can't be used against you if taken form you, can't be used PERIOD. What you are asking for is not a gun, it is a magic wand.
