Here's my question. On a very hot day you go to an ice cream store. You walk down the aisle and lift the lid to a waist high horizontal freezer and pick up an ice cream bar. You notice that the other freezers are upright and have doors. Which freezer design is better for keeping the cold air in and why?

As a scientist, I would give you one answer. I think you know what that answer is.

As an engineer, I would ask your for studies about heat transfer per average door opening.

As a business person, I would ask you for studies showing which type connected better to the consumer, and then ask whether the energy cost justified this difference.

As an educator, I would ask why you are posting this question here rather than thinking about it yourself? I'm over 60 years old and have nothing to prove. You're probably just beginning to develop your mental skills.
