What is the BEST well-known art college in U.S.?

I want to major in Graphic Design.

But, what is a highly reccommended and well-known art college that gives you a great education and will be impressive while looking for a job?

Julliard School of the Arts is the most prestigious and hardest to get in to but a degree from Julliard will basically guarantee you a job when your done its the best school for both visual and performing arts. the next would be CalArts (california institute of the arts), The Art Institute of Chicago, Pratt Institure, Rhode Islnd School of Design, and Yale Art School. These are all top schools where you will get offered tons of jobs after school. GOOD LUCK!

That is debatable. By definition, any "well-known" college - - art or otherwise - - is relatively impressive on a resume, but it's the work that makes the prospective employee look good, not the school. The school can only guide you.

Many high schools have computer programs that can narrow down the list for you (i.e., don't go to an institution just because it has a good program or name; what about extracurricular activities? what about social environment? (yeah, yeah, I know, those two are the same thing!)).

Rhode Island school of design has a excellent art program. My friend wants to go there and she is amazing at art. I also know that Pratt is very good and Yale.
