ok so i have to take the SAT this spring. i know algebra like the back of my hand but i sadly have forgotten most if not all of my geometry!!! i hear geometry is a huge factor on the SAT
how can i brush up on my geometry really well and quickly without having to take another class!!! and what are some key concepts that i need to know about geometry to possibly do well in that area of the test?? please please help!!!!!

a million. grow to be slope-intercept kind... 2x - y = 4 ===> y = 2x - 4 (y = mx + b) For it to be parallel, the equations could desire to have an identical slope. however the (b) term is distinctive for the two... so which you desire an equation to get (b)... b = -2x + y Use the coordinate factors to locate (b)... (x,y) ==> (-3,-11) so x = -3 and y = -11 b = -2(-3) + (-11) b = -5 answer: y = 2x - 5 2. placed the equation into slope intercept kind... 5x + 3y = 8 =====> y = -5/3x + 8/3 Perpendicular strains have opposite slopes meaning the sign transformations and the huge sort receives flipped... y = -5/3 + 8/3 ====> answer: y = 3/5 + 8/3 3. it incredibly is very almost comparable to #2 different than which you're given coordinates to parent the equation and the (b) is distinctive like #a million... i'm going to easily coach you devoid of rationalization... y = a million/2x + 5 (5) = a million/2(-2) + b b = 6 answer: y = -2x + 6 4. For dilation - some thing that receives larger. Transition (i think of is what your attempting to assert) - some thing that shifts (strikes)... 5. looking the edge of a triangle... do not you in basic terms upload each and every of the factors? 6. basically upload each and every of the factors and locate 0.5 of the respond... 10 + 14 + sixteen = 40 40/2 = 20

If you know algebra, them geometry is not a big problem.
Almost every section of geometry relies on your understanding of algebra 1 and 2.

You can do this:

1-hire a local tutor

2-buy home instructional vhs or dvd lessons from mathmadeeasy.com or standarddeviants.com

3-or, e-mail your geometry questions to freemathhelp.com
