If you have please tell me what you thought of the game, any parts you got stuck on and what not. I have personally beaten the game with secrete ending and all.

I absolutely love this game. I also have beat the game with both endings, and the Dragovian Trials. The Trials are by far the hardest part of the game, but still enjoyable. Fighting the various dragon forms of the Lord of the Dragovians were the only spots I ever really got "stuck". I can't say enough good things about this game, it's one of my favorite RPGs. Since you've seen both endings, were you surprised about exactly who "Munchie" is? I know I was.

My favorite of the series that I have been able to play so far to date (I have played and beaten 1,2,3,4,7,and 8).
I really enjoyed the updates, the new graphics, the voice overs, but the traditional game elements still being left in their traditional forms. My only complaint was that the game was not even longer than it was, just because it was so much fun to play. I enjoyed the secret dungeons, the extra ending, and how long the ending was in general. Some games as of late make light of the huge accomplishment beating a game is to someone, but I think Dragon Quest VIII having an interactive ending really made the game that much better.

Parts I got stuck on, really none except for getting the Bacaratt Casino opened earlier. That was a little tricky, but other then that, I did pretty well with the game. Seemed to find most of the items, and had a great time playing it.

I too was suprised by who Munchie was, and how well the whole game was tied together to make sense of why the hero could have been on this quest. Was really a huge shock to me.

BEST RPG for the PS2!
