All stainless is not created equal.The higher the nickel content the better quality of the sink.You can get any size,it has to fit in your base cabinet.If you have a 36" base cabinet you could install a 32" sink.The size of the base cabinet will determine the size of the sink.

If your question is "what is the best type", go with an 18 gauge, 33x22 double bowl with insulated bottom for noise reduction.
