Some babies army crawl, some crawl properly, some bum scoot, and some just roll around. ALL are completely normal which is why crawling is NOT a developmental milestone.

Babies often stop sleeping through when they are learning a new skill or going through a growth spurt.

Babies crawl in different ways. That is fine. He may crawl on hands and knees later, but if not, that is fine too. He just needs to get around, it doesn't matter how he does it. I would keep him on mainly formula till he is 12 months old, some solids but not too much. You can help him sleep through the night by creating a good bedtime routine for him that calms him down to sleep. Sometimes they quit sleeping through the night, especially when they are learnign so much and they think sleeping is a waste of time!! Just enjoy your baby and let him be.

Its normal for them to change their sleep patterns, you just have to keep the same routine and let them cry it out a couple nights.

Every child crawls in their own way, some scoot, others army crawl, others on hands and knees. Just give him plenty of floor time, he's fine.

on the crawling part just keep putting him on his hands every time you catch him doing an army crawl, eventually he will get it. and about sleeping through the night. i guess more info is needed. do you give him a bottle before bed also? maybe try feeding him right before bed his rice or add some to a bottle (I'm assuming you mean rice cereal for babies?) he may just still have a tiny tummy and is getting hungry during the night.

hehehe...your baby is cute...he is normal and clever not to put his palm on the floor too...he'll be a fine young man...his sleepin pattern is changing but its alright, this is not a problem,as kids grow older, they have 8 hours sleep instead of 12 or 14 like infants do
