Okay, alf, I think the first two are just having a little sport with you. At least I hope that's what it is. No one has any idea how fast a UFO goes, since no such thing, (of intelligent extraterrestrial origin), has ever been properly verified. In all likelihood, there are no such vessels buzzing around earth, so speed is irrelevant.
Now there are many kinds of UFOs which are not "space ships," but I'm sure you weren't talking about them.

we already have planes and ships that can go at least 8 times the speed of sound while going against gravity
a ufo would probably go faster than that

0 MPH if their aliens, aliens don't exist on earth. i mean seriously, how dumb are people. if a UFO travels 5000 mph do you have any idea how long it would take to reach earth. thousands of years. the nearest planet that can support life is 20.5 light years away.
so 20.5 light years is 120,509,345,600,000 miles.
at 5000 mph it would take 24101869110 hours to get there.
there are 8765.82 hours in a year.
so it would take nearly 3 million years to reach earth. but thats just my math, I'm sure i pressed a wrong button or 2, even if i did, no species could bring enough food, water, and oxygen for 1 person for even a thousand years.

Well, the Space Shuttle hits the atmosphere at about Mach 25 upon re- entry... Is that fast enough for you?

If Bigfoot is driving, about 10 times the speed of light. He is known to have a heavy foot. If Elvis and Jesus are riding along, a lot slower. I'll leave it to your imagination which one of them is afraid of going faster.

General consensus is about Mach 7 (>5,000 mph) in Earth's Atmosphere.........
*** PS- Thanks to all the buttwadds that acted like this was a serious question or at least answer. "I will follow you".........
**** Cbirch is a mooroon...... the space shuttle travels almost 20,000 mph in orbit, why would the aliens take the slow lane?? why would they not accelerate on the way to earth? If a car can go from 0-60 in 10 seconds ((pretty average, my prius can) why can't a space craft? If it could, at the end of one year it would be going 188,200,000 mph (or at least close to the speed of light)??
