in august after i had sex, my period came , (or atleast i think it was my period) but anyways... it only lasted for two days, and it was soooo light that i only had to use pantiliners instead of regular pads. i havent been gaining weight, no cramps, or anything, i just feel.... well normal. i plan on buying the test before the end of october on a count of my period having an irregular cycle. but could i be pregnant? if not... then why is it that blood came out?

You could be pregnant, that could be implantation bleeding or it could be a regular period.

Menstruation usually stops when a woman is pregnant. However, in some cases, a woman might have a period with less blood or that lasts fewer days than usual and still be pregnant. Your confusion is understandable because these signs can lead women to believe they are not pregnant. However, various kinds of bleeding can occur in early pregnancy. Women can get some spotting in their first trimester:

* when the fertilized egg implants in the uterus;
* if the pregnancy is abnormal in any way [i.e., ectopic pregnancy (implantation outside of the uterus, such as in a fallopian tube), a threatening miscarriage]; or,
* from bleeding as part of their menstrual cycle (this is extremely rare).

after conception you can have break-through bleeding at the time you usually have your period and still be pregnant. if you are not sure or stressing about this then go buy a pregnancy test just to be sure. If you got pregnant in August you should be able to tell by now through a pregnancy test.
