Maybe you were not putting out the right signals. Sometimes you must be very obvious about how you feel about him. He must not have thought you were interested in a more personal relationship There are times that you have to club some guys like cave men and women as they are not fully aware of what is going on with other people and their feelings. You might have to wait on telling him how you feel , he may read that as you interfering with his new relationship.

I was once in your situation we told each other how we felt and it has been 7 years and we have 3 kids together. It doesnt work for everyone however just make sure he feels the same so you dont ruin your friendship but you should tell him soon before he gets too close with his new girlfriend

Hey,
I'm a guy whose been in the same situation with the genders reversed.
It's unbearable. Don't put yourself through it in silence.
I don't mean to be a downer, but this particular situation ended up poorly for me, and I lost both people as friends, but being vocal did help me to move to a more favorable relationship a few months afterwards.

He belomgs to other girl now.
Just don;t become the other girl, the rebound the spear part, the tear hanky... and so on .
He got it good with you once there are still posiblities that might get even better ....
You can even become friends with the new girl...

All you have to do is be there for him, that way, he'll know you care about him. Then, if something happens between them, he'll know that ur there 4 him. That way, he'll maybe fall in love with u. This both scandolous and kind. don't worry, the same thing happened to me, and it turned out great!
