Whats everyone's opinion of CM Punk ?

Question

Im sure most people here didnt see much or any of CM Punk's work with ROH, but from what you have seen of him .... Do you ever think he will be moved over to Raw or SmackDown as a contender for belt such as the US title or the IC title ?

I figure ECW has to be stopped sometime, cause that show is mostly unwatchable.

Rate Punk's wrestling ability , mic skills and Charisma ?

Punk's wrestling ability is fabulous.
I honestly belive He could thrive in an OLD ECW type environment
His Mic Skills are adequate
And He has some charisma, He ain't Rocky ver 2.0 or anything but ok.
I like CM Punk
Him and Burke are the best things that miserable excuse of a show has going for it.

Well,actually i have seen CM Punk in Roh and he was amazing!
ECW is better now than it was 2 months ago but there are so many things that they must improve to stay as a brand(Tag Team Division,more wrestlers,ECW Originals e.t.c).

If Punk leave ECW then i can see him challenging for the U.S and IC title for a while..and after that for the WWE or WHC titles..Why not?
He has almost excellent wrestling ability:9/10
He has good mic skills:7/10.although he needs to work in this case a little more or the WWE must give him a little bit more time on the mic.
and he has great charisma 9.5/10 at this time!
He doesn't want something more to climb at the top..

CM Punk the wrestler is one of the best out there today.

He does need to work on his mic skills a little more though. He's not ready for Raw or Smackdown in the main event or semi-main event scene yet. While he be there in time...yes.

CM Punk has the charisma...the wrestling talent to be a great wrestler...possibly a hall of famer one day. His work in ROH and TNA was great stuff, period. His work in ECW...in spite of how bad that brand is most of the time....is very good. He hasn't got the same "it" factor on the mic like a Triple H, Steve Austin, Mick Foley or Rock....but he could be one of thoose kinds of guys who does reach that level eventually.

The good thing though is that guys like Ric Flair, William Regal, Rey Mysterio, Jaime Knoble and others who are very talented in ring performers respect CM Punk because Punk is a great talent in the ring, and you can trust him in the ring to take care of you. That's not an easy thing to say about everyone in the biz. Punk will make a lot of guys look better in the ring than what they are....and that's a rare thing to find.

For Punk...it's going to be staying healthy....and continuing to work hard on his mic skills that will make a difference if he ends up becoming one of the all time greats or not.

Him and Burke are The Only Reasons I Watch ECW...

Wrestling Skill- 9, I dont Care if He's Facing Divari His Matches Will Still Entertain Me. He has Speed Highlying and 2 GREAT Finishers.

Mic Skill- 7+, He Rearly Gets on The Mic And When he Does Its About 2 Minutes.

Charisma- 8-, He has a Decnt amount of Charisma.

CM Punk was far better in RoH than in ECW, as now he barely gets any mic time, which is one of his strong suits, and he resembles a sloppy Japanese wrestler, which is still awesome, but not as good as the RoH Punk. He will eventually move to RAW or Smackdown, but he's fairly good as the face of ECW right now. As for rating him:

Wrestling: RoH (9), WWE (7).
Mic Skills: RoH (9), WWE (He never gets on the mic.)
Charisma: RoH (8), WWE (8).

CM Punk is really good, but the WWE waters his style down a lot. In ROH and TNA, he was a better balanced wrestler and wasn't too much of a rip of KENTA, which is my main gripe with CM Punk in WWE now. I can understand looking up to a wrestler, but taking nearly their whole moveset is ridiculous.

Eventually, he will be moved, but I bet to SmackDown , since his following is still not that huge. I see him in the US title area.

Wresting in WWE: 7 (He needs his own moves)
Mic Skills in WWE: ??? (does he ever talk?)

Punk is one of the few face characters that I like. I think that he would thrive if moved to Smackdown or RAW. He would be in the hunt for either of the second tier titles, and I would much rather see him as IC champ than Botchmaster Jeff.

I disagree about ECW though, it's been more entertaining than RAW or Smackdown recently.

CM Punk was awesome in Ring of Honor, he was my favorite wrestler back then, but now he is watered-down and stale. Punk needs to wrestle his old style again and give him more mic time!

Wrestling ability - 8(WWE), 9(ROH)
Mic skills - 7(WWE, barely talks but has some nice dialouge when he does), 10(ROH, "Drug-free,alcohol-free, and better than you!")
Charisma - 9(WWE), 9(ROH) has a strong fanbase in both companies.

He kinda reminds me of Chris Benoit and RVD, he is a fantastic wrestler with a bit more old school style., he is getting held back by trying to keep ECW alive, I thought that his match against Benoit could of been his career defining one, I dont see a move to the main brands any time soon due to the situation with such few wrestlers on the ECW roster plus he and Morrison are the top preformers on the brand currently. I would like to see ECW abolished one day and him move to SD, he would make a great US Champion, he fits that mold, if he held that title that would be great cause when I see him walk in the ring with the ECW title he remids me of Benoit with the WHC

I really like C.m. Punk. I think he has very good wrestling ability, mic skills(Even though he hasen't really gotten to show them off yet in WWE) and charisma. He needs to be moved from ECW however
