I know a man who admitts to being attracted to transvestites and even talked about having an encounter with one. He had always been with women. Anyone have an answer?

Is pansexual the same as bisexual? And my question is not is the TRANSEXUAL gay, is this guy that's ATTACTED to him, gay. He's been in happy relationships with women since I have known him. Thanks

Could be two things, he wants to dress as a woman himself or he fancies guys and to see them dressed as women is more acceptable than men in men clothes.

I would suspect that he is Bi, and has an attraction for TV/CD, which might also indicate that he is turned on by nice feminine appearances. Some guys enjoy watching TV/CD's because they tend to try and dress much more feminine than the vast majority of women at the current time. Next time you are at Wal-Mart, check out the women and see how many look like they just got out of bed or came from the gym and how many are dressed to show off thier feminine attributes. And he may be curious as to just how feminine a TV/CD might be and how far they would carry thier "feminine" spirit if things got hot and heavy. (The answer of course being dependent on the people involved and what each individual was comfortable in doing.)

It depends. If he's attracted to drag queens-- that is, gay men who enjoy dressing up like women-- he is gay. If he is attracted to MtF transgenders, he is straight, even if they're pre-op. That's my opinion, anyway.
