He is just doing it for publicity for him and his company. It is cheaper than a superbowl commercial and probably got more exposure. I personally believe that the ball should go to the hall of fame without an asterisk.

He Gets my vote for dork of the public. I bet you have of the votes were from Dodger fans. If anyone doesn't know, dodgers vs giants is the most heated rivalry in Baseball. Red Sox and Yankees is only higher because they actually play good. But the dodgers and giants get into fights and can't stand one another. I will never step in Dodger Stadium without pissing on their walls.
Bonds ball should go to the hall of fame in tact. But unfortunately the public acted unamerican by branding the ball while not proving him guilty. Innocent until proven people! It's a black eye to the face of America more than it is a black eye to the face of baseball.

Considering Barry hit most of the home runs clean and was man enough to admit that he used for a short time I would not accpet the ball if I was the hall of fame.
Barry was not on any steroids at the time he hit that home run.

To win a lawsuit for slander, Bonds might first could desire to teach that he in no way used overall performance improving drugs and that the act of branding the baseball a approach or the different broken his acceptance. i think of that it is secure to assert that Barry does not desire to get on the stand and testify approximately his drug use and it is likewise secure to assert that this little stunt did not injury his acceptance anymore than it already grow to be. So, no, i don't think of he ought to win a slander lawsuit.

It's a huge publicity stunt - If I were Barry Bonds I would possibly look into a legal remedy for defamation of character. There is no concrete evidence that he used steroids, and until it does come to light people shouldn't,t treat him as guilty.

I think it's cool. 99% of fans outside of SF think that he juiced. Ecko is merely echoing (sorry) the public's sentiment. Good for him.
Besides, Bonds is such a dichtk that it's somehow comforting that he cannot control this aspect of it. Forever schmirched will he be.

He paid for it so he owns it so he has the right to do that. I think that it was actually a very cleaver marketing technique that he used. I think more people know his name and thus know his product. I agree with him because WE VOTED on it so it is what we want not what he wants. But he will do what we want so we like him and buy is product. So really this is all about marketing.

I love the idea. Good for him. Barry Bonds is a cheater and Hank Aaron and Roger Maris still hold the all-time HR record and the HR record in a season.

It's the right thing to do. The guy took steroids and that needs to be noted and written down in the pages of history.
