Just wondering, theres ddr ddr2 ddr3 ram i know about that, but other than that is there anything else to worry about as far as ram compatability is concerned?(i know to get the same brand on both sticks and the same speed)

High performance RAM (high speed/ low latency) usually operate at a higher voltage. Enthusiast motherboards support them but regular retail motherboards have problems supporting those higher than normal voltages.

make sure theres a high speed on the ram eg, 667mhz.also ddr3 ram is new and will be expensive to buy etc.if u r goin to buy ram make sure its laptop ram,that has the same no. of pins,a high speed,and u must refer to the laptop manual for instance if it tells u to only buy pc2 5300.
