If you can't be clear in a simple question, perhaps you aren't ready for college.

But if you are, you can get the answers to all of your questions at Princeton Review. They show admissions statistics for all the U of Ms.

You do know we live in a country where Maine, Maryland, Massachusettes, Michigan, Minestoa, Mississippi, Missouri, and Montana all have their own U of M?

That said I'm going to assume you're speaking of Michigan (mainly because its in the top 5 public schools in the country). ACT average is around 27, GPA is around 3.8 (recalculated the "Michigan" way), probably involved in half a dozen activities and attaining leadership roles in at least one, at least 2 AP courses and as many honors courses as possible. This is all for an instate kid, out of state they expect even more.

If you don't have all that critera met don't be afraid to apply, I know someone who got in as Pre-Med last year with a 24 ACT and a 3.4 GPA and almost no outside activities.
