Your GPA will not exclude you from any school -- even the elite ones. Your ACT score corresponds to an SAT score of about 1800. This is low for those admitted to elite schools.

You should probably apply to one or two reach schools You probably won't get in unless can get your SAT up in the 2000 range -- but you have a shot.

You have an excellent chance at most of the better public universities (e.g., Michigan, Virginia, UNC, the UC schools). You should also consider some of the better Liberal Arts colleges and some of the better regional universities (e.g., schools like Villanova and Richmond).

Princeton Review has a tool where you enter information about your interests and background -- it then tells you what schools are a good fit for you. The link is below.

It's hard to say where you would be accepted. I'm going to be honest, your ACT score is pretty low for someone with such a high GPA and class rank. Your school may grade easy or you may have taken easy classes but you should try to pull your test scores up because colleges look at those alot. Also be sure to take AP tests in the subjects you're good at, Macro & Micro Econ. and AP Calc/AP Prob & Stat.

talk to your school's guidence office... they'll be able to tell you which schools are good for you and perhaps what programs.

you should always go with what you enjoy. never go for "what will make you the most money"; a job you hate is not worth it.

the cost depends of if you go to a private school, a community college, and WHERE you go. it varies; you'll have to research a lot of it yourself.
