Personallly, I don't give a flip about Columbia letting a piss-ant talk... what does it hurt? I am more annoyed that "the Hills" is still on than a Iranian politician talks crazy in our nation... I actually find THAT entertaining.... I mean I have never heard ANYONE say "gosh, he sure has a point... hmmm"... I mean why are people on here so threatened by this idiot.

BTW, he really isn't very politically powerful in Iran (to anyone that tells me that people like me do a disservice because I don't take him seriously)it is the Ayatollah we should be thinking about. This guy is a figurehead.

More Americans will die in Iraq because of it.

Liberals invited Iran's president to speak at a U.S. university. That action will only fuel Iran's anti-American propaganda which will result in more dead soldiers in Iraq. Liberals already knew the speech would be broadcast to hundreds of millions of people in the Middle East.

It didn't matter in the least what university he talked at! It was only that there are so many people here in the US who feel that freedom of speech applies only to those who share thier views and nobody else.

I too think that the guy is pretty much lying out his a$%hole but then we need to know just what those lies might be. Now, we know that he is attempting to "smooth over" his country's rhetoric and convince people that they really aren't against women's rights, freedom of speech, Israel as a country and that they do not deny that the "holocost" happened just that the reporting of it was twisted.

So, now we know that he and his country is completely full of s$&t and just what lame crap they want to feed the rest of the world.

Columbis matters because it is an Ivy League school. That makes it part of the establishment, like it or not. The President of Iran is powerful because the world-wide media quotes his every word. This gives him access to billions of people. His power to persuade the world, far exceeds his power in Iran. A paradox? Definitely!

The "administration" has been selling people on war with Iran for about 24 months now. Go back and read some news stories.

Save your breath. This would require true political debate. This forum is more for flaming and oversimplification.

Bush is the most protested man ever and needs a small brigade of troops as protection when he goes overseas. So its no surprise when an extremist fringe of bushbots here protest bush's counterpart in Iran.
