i have a pedicoat thing and i want to sew a skirt to go over it. how do i do this...exactly? i've never sewn before AT ALL so i need step-by-step instructions really soon! thanks :)

What type of petticoat do you have?? Is it straight? Full? Give me an Idea and I will try to help you.

It's hard to know what you mean because you don't say if it's a long petticoat like Scarlett O'Hara or a short one like for a poodle skirt. Basically you would want to buy a pattern for a skirt that flares out a lot, or possibly even a hoop skirt if it's a floor length petticoat. Look in the pattern books at your local fabric store. You can ask the staff, but they will need you to describe your petticoat or even bring it with you.
