It is always amazing how someone who has it all wants just something more. I find it hard to believe that Vick could not find something interesting to do that wasn't illegal.
I think alot of these guys have three things that get them in trouble.
1) Youth. They just don't have the life experiences to learn good judgement and making sound decisions.
2) Sudden wealth. From nothing to millionaires in the sapce of 4-5 years. Like a kid in a candy shop, will he know to stop indulging himself before he gets sick?
3) Friends. So many of them surround themselves with losers and leeches who want to get the biggest thrill at his expense while the money and fame lasts.
The really telling point is that the African American youth seems to dominate this scenario. I think that should clearly illustrate the socio-economic differences between black and white in this country.
I wish I had the answer.

I think there's a lot of racism involved, I know he's famous but, if a white famous person did this, they wouldn't be showing all of his information on tv. For example Mark McGwire did steriod he admitted in the court room, but in baseball record's he still hits 72 home runs, but if they would've found steriods in Barry Bond then they would've took everything from him. Now they want to put a asterik by Barry Bonds all time home run ball. There's so much racism in the United States, there's racism in the Court System, there's racism in the House of Delegates, even our president is racis. Michael Vick will never be treated fair going through this trial, because the media is painting this horrible perception of him. The media is just panting a horrible perception of all our black famous people. For example, O.J. Simpson white people still has it in there mind he still murdered his wife, he will never get treated fair neither. Be honest the person that made this question up has to be racis, why would call Michael Vick the dumbest guy on earth, becase he's black. You nor your family or friends could ever wear his shoes. As a black male growing up in this society you have to be strong, and Michael Vick was a strong male. Making out of the ghetto and providing for his family.

This case is all about respecting the law. He didn't, and was going to get a year. By testing positive, he might as well have just shouted I killed the dogs, what are you going to do about it? Straight to the judges face. I have a riddle for you. How do you turn a 1 year sentence into 2?

It is definitely a race thing. If Tom Brady fought dogs, pleaded guilty, and then got sued for not being able to pay a $2 million loan they would not test him for drug use. Its because Mike Vick Is Black.......NOT!!!!! He is just a giant idiot who had been told since grade school that he was untouchable and now the more he messes up the more I laugh and laugh.

Yeah, I tend to agree with you, but after his dog fighting thing, and things looking like his NFL career is over, what else would you expect? I guess he figures that he has no more chances to be a success in life and has just given up all the way around.

This guy is obviously dumber than a container of rocks. Goodell could desire to forget approximately approximately each and every thing and droop him for being too stupid to play in the NFL. the guy that always cheers on USC is a loser.
honestly, if I were vick, I would want to be stoned out of my mind all the time. plus, he's already not going to be playing for a long time, so... pot charges can't outweigh killing dogs

first off i want to say that i support michael to the fullest and no matter what he does, ill be a vick fan for life. im african american and i think vick is being treated unfairly because he's black. if your were im from, you could hear about a dog fight and it would be nothing. but you white people care about animals so much. you would let your own mother die before you let your dog "skippy" die. the truth is, if this was payton manning or tom brady. they would never be scrutinized as vick was.
