-4/9(2x-4)=48 (first multiply through by 9 - this removes denominator from left hand side.

-4(2x - 4) = 432 (Next multiply out the brackets by '-4'. Noting that minus times a minus gives a plus answer).
-8x + 16 = 432 (Subtract '16' from both sides)
-8x = 432 - 16
-8x = 416 (Divide through by '-8').
x = -52 the answer!!!!!

-4/9(2x-4)=48
multiply both sides by -9/4
2x-4 = 48(-9/4)
2x-4 = -108
add 4 to both sides
2x = 4-108
2x = -104
divide both sides by 2
x = -52
