Multiply each term by x(x-2),
x^2 - (x+1)(x-2) = 8
Cancel the x^2 terms,
x + 2 = 8
x = 6

x / (x - 2) - (x + 1) / x = 8 / (x)(x - 2)
x ² - (x + 1)(x - 2) = 8
x ² - ( x ² - x - 2 ) = 8
x + 2 = 8
x = 6

(x^2-2x)*[(x/x-2)-(x+1/x)=8/x^2-2x]
x^2-(x^2 -x-2) =8
x+2=8
x=6

You really need to re-write this using properly the parentheses in the right places
