Hahahahha, that's so funny. So you post some excerpts and summaries of various legislation designed to allow America to act in desperate times, and we're supposed to pee our pants over it?

Why don't you read all the executive orders issued by previous presidents, compare those to these, and then realize this is business as usual?

If you really care about American freedoms, read Executive Order 51. That is the only one I am intimately familiar with. Section 5a, 5c, 9 and 20 go to great lengths to preserve checks and balances and ensure fair elections should the US be under a state of martial law during election times.

yes,most of them were not thought through.franklin d. roosevelt still holds the record in issuing executive orders, but, it was a time of a declared war,real national emergency,nationwide fear,national mobilization,a pullout from the geneva convention,a general(george marshall running the entire show),washington d.c. in marshall law for the duration,a national search warrant for any weapons or enemies to turn this country upside down,amendments to laws over 150 years old,utilize everyone in a war effort,with no vacation or sick time and even made inmates work on war projects,but he talked nightly to americans to sooth them.how g. bush can admire f.d.r.'s photo and carry out l.b.j.'s policy, i will never know

Oddly enough, when you actually look those orders up, you see John F. Kennedy's name on the bottom of them. Why is that?

Paranoia strikes deep...you guys don't like it if the President doesn't act fast enough during a crisis, so he puts in place measures to act in a crisis and you get upset...

very good facts, yes the signing orders are out of control and have been regarded as law, he has written more executive orders than all previous presidents combined.... we are awake and there is nothing you can do about it...
