Because I smoke and I'm also on a lot of other medications right now and am getting severe vertigo and dizziness, even chest pain when I go on my daily walk and last night my right leg was swollen and felt numb.

Don't do it!
It can contribute to blood clots. And smoking is a nasty, filthy habit anyway.
If your leg was swollen, that could be exactly why you shouldn't smoke while on bc. Circulation problems!

A couple of weeks ago a woman posted a warning here. Her daughter had a stroke at a fairly young age (I think around 30 or so ... maybe it was even younger). Doctors are convinced it was due to smoking while taking bc pills.

Don't do it.

No one suppose to but it can affect the birth control pill.
