hell i go barefooted all the time. Most of us southerners do. What's wrong with that. I even go barefooted in the winter time around the house. i hate shoes.

I'm always barefoot myself, but I prefer it when everyone can just chose what to wear or not wear anywhere. There are plenty of people who hate being barefoot just as much as I hate wearing shoes; why do that to them? *I* would be okay with going barefoot but if someone was uncomfortable that way, I'd defend their right to keep shoes or socks on. Footwear or lack thereof shouldn't be a requirement ever except for a few places like in the pool when actually in the water (on the poolside slippers are fine with me!) or the other way around, in a hardhat area, fire zone etc (together with the rest of the safety gear).

Barefoot.. what is more natural ?
The only problem, of course, is people that walk around spreading foot rot. I went to a farm school in the eastern Transvaal where barefoot was "the way". We only wore shoes on special occasions and when it was really cold. Still remember warming my tootsies in cow pats. We were not poor but it was just the way that farm boys were reared back then. Nothing has changed for me except I no longer wear shorts. Jeans without shoes is good.

Depends on the condition, but in general yes. I prefer to be barefoot.

Normally I would but I just had to have surgery to get wood out of the bottom of my foot that I stepped on.

No because we have chickens, dogs and cats and the yard is like minesweeper but with turds.

i dont mind if it's a temple in clean countries like singapore,or in few houses as per their custom, definitely not otherwise
